AML/KYC Policy
1 ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING PROCEDURES
1.1 • AML Detection
Withdrawals can be requested for amounts that have been withdrawn at least once. This protects 1x2play from abuse for money laundering purposes and also safeguards our free deposit system, which could be misused to our disadvantage. All withdrawal requests are initially verified, monitoring all requests and flagging suspicious ones based on any suspected fraudulent background. Each customer may deposit only a maximum of $1,200 per week. Players who wish to deposit more funds than the initially set limit will have to undergo a more thorough verification process with voice confirmation and will be periodically monitored for gaming activity. Additionally, these players will be highlighted/flagged in our software’s back office for easy identification, tracking, and control.
In addition to the system's automated checks, all customer transactions/accounts are reviewed to verify the presence of multiple accounts, individuals who may have been blacklisted by any relevant organization or company, transaction and betting behavior, amounts handled, deposit/withdrawal methods, and other factors that could indicate any suspicious activity based on our employees' long-term experience.
If no such issues are detected, the result will be sent to our accounting department for final verification, and the final payment can be processed. This process is completed within one business day.
1.2 • Anti-Money Laundering Reports
In any case where 1x2play detects and verifies that any form of money laundering is being conducted or attempted, such activity will be reported to the Curaçao Gaming Authorities, if necessary.
2 KYC PROCEDURES
2.1 Player Registration
To open an account with 1x2play from the web portal, the user must first complete the registration process and deposit funds, which can then be used to start playing. The registration details that all new customers must complete include:
-Date of birth and submission of a valid identity document (including passport or driver's license), proving the player is over eighteen (18) years old.
-Player's first and last name
-Player's residential address
-Player's valid email address
-A username and password
All customers must be at least 18 years old and can only have one player account in their name, as specified in the Curaçao Remote Gaming Regulations. Therefore, no minors are allowed to play on the 1x2play website. Users without a registered player account will not be able to play. An individual applying to become an Account Holder guarantees and declares to be a real person (a legal entity will not be accepted as an Account Holder) and to not be resident in the blocked countries listed in section 2.2.
2.2 • Due Diligence
Players from restricted countries/states cannot register due to strict non-gaming regulations in their country. These countries are: Uganda, Iraq, South Africa, Croatia, Slovenia, Greece, Sweden, Romania, Belarus, Switzerland, Lithuania, Monaco, Estonia, Latvia, Isle of Man, Afghanistan, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, French Guiana, French Polynesia, French Southern Territories, Guadeloupe, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kahnawake, Libya, Macau, Malta, Martinique, Mayotte, Myanmar, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, North Korea, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Réunion, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Sudan, Syria, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City, Yemen (please note specific country exclusions for Casino - Games - Live Casino, Poker, and Bingo); 1x2play reserves the right to block site access and withhold winnings from players in the mentioned countries.
Before any withdrawal, the customer will be required to provide the following documentation: proof of bank account, credit card, utility bill (no older than 3 months), and identification document. This documentation must be verified before approving the withdrawal. Additionally, voice and phone number verification will be performed on high-volume customers and those with severe irregularities in their betting behavior. All documentation will be formally requested via email for both due diligence scenarios and will be stored according to the company's internal procedures.
Following a cumulative withdrawal by any customer equal to or exceeding €2,300, proof of identity in the form of scanned documents, such as scanned ID cards or passports, will be required to confirm identity, and in some cases, a recent bill to confirm the address.
Cumulative withdrawals equal to or exceeding €2,300 will not be processed until these documents are submitted by the requesting customer and verified and confirmed by the Fraud Management staff.
Whenever a new customer deposits money and starts playing or betting on the 1x2play website, our system will check and monitor their transactions and betting behavior daily. This procedure allows us to analyze how each individual customer uses the products on our websites, enabling us to classify players and set limits on individual players based on their betting patterns.
2.3 • Email Verification
When a new account is created, a verification link is sent to the email account specified during the registration process. When the user clicks on the link, the account is successfully created. Only at this point can the player deposit money and start placing bets.
